Planking a very large Monkey Puzzle

We took this Chilean Pine (Monkey Puzzle) down last year and the client requested that we came back and planked it for him.

The tree is over 5ft in diameter and it is proposed to use the wood to make furniture and floorboards.

We used a Stihl 880 on the Alaskan Mill with a 6ft Woodland Pro Bar, Stihl .404 "Ripping chain" also an Auxillary oiler to ensure the bar was well lubricated.

The Quad and flatbed were used to move the heavy slabs once cut.
